Desperate SEO company

Here’s a new one…
We get a call from an SEO company saying our website was sending out viruses, we got chatting, and it didn’t take me long before I realised this was another obvious scam to find out information about our company.
That same day a customer of Four Degrees West called to say that they had received a telephone call saying that I had recommended the SEO company. The SEO company obviously mentioned the fact that they had spoken to me!
The SEO business seems like a desperate one, I’ve yet to hear about a successful one, and if there was such a company I’m sure Google would change an algorithm or two!
For the record we would never recommend an SEO company.
Our Internet marketing is based on an ethical approach, we can’t guarantee anything as we don’t have a share in Google, so unless Google call you up with some SEO promises be very careful before giving away any money.
